Description

The 3x3g is a mezzanine board for the PCI SS, PCI GS, or PCIe8 LX

main board. It has three ports, each capable of transferring data at up to 3.1325 gigabits per second, using the Xilinx RocketIO multigigabit transceiver. The mezzanine board has three small form-factor pluggable (SFP) connectors that support either fiber optic LC, or 1000 Base-T copper Ethernet adaptors.

Four additional RocketIO channels connect to an internal 40-pin connector.

EDT provides an FPGA configuration file that makes it possible to output and acuire data using 8b/10B encoding.

Two quad-frequency oscillators allow eight diferent clock speeds.

Software

    Device Drivers for Sun Solaris (Intel and SPARC platform), Linux and Windows are included with purchase of the board. Drivers for VxWorks and MacOS are available on request.
