The EDT Bridge is an auxiliary board for EDT main boards, and provides a connection between the ATA style connectors at the top of the boards.
The Bridge facilitates transmission of data between two main boards, by providing a connection that bypasses the computer's bus, a useful feature any time memory or FPGA resources need to be combined. The Bridge allows for two full-duplex Rocket I/O channels on two PCI GS or two PCI LX boards.
The two boards to be connected must be in adjacent slots. Connecting two different types of main boards (for example, one PCI GS and one PCIe8 LX) is not supported.
