Fiber Optic Camera Extension Systems
EDT's fiberoptic systems provide long range capability — up to 10KM from the host — and electrical isolation for Camera Link, LVDS and RS-422 devices, in several configurations.
Converter module pairs can be configured as a fiber optic "extention cord" that act as direct replacements for standard camera link cables, and plug into
frame grabbers from EDT or other manufacturers. Or use a converter module at the camera end, and plug the fiber directly into an EDT direct-from-fiber
framegrabber in the host computer. One to four cameras can be remotely located up to 300 meters from the host computer, or up to 10 kilometers with the extended range option.
