The Net10g is a multi-rate, multi-format optical carrier mezzanine board for network data processing. It has two high-speed TCAMs and input/output of up to 10 gigabits per second, and it works with an EDT PCI GS or PCIe8 LX main board.
The Net10G has two pluggable form factors: an SDP (for OC3/12/48, STM-1/4/16, or 1 Gb Ethernet I/O); and an XFP (for SONET OC192, SDH STM-64, or 10 GB Ethernet I/O). The board is like the OC192, but with TCAMs and larger user-accessible Xilinx Virtex 5 FPGA. It has 2GB of DDR2 DRAM and 8 MB of SRAM.
EDT provides FPGA configuration files for de-multiplexing to VC-4C payloads, and for supporting multiple standards, including raw data, framed data, header data, and payload data.
Additional resources are provided via the main board.
