The PCIe1 53B is a complete single slot MIL-STD 1553B interface for PCI Express bus computers, designed to be software compatible with the existing PCI bus version, the PCI 53B.
The PCIe1 53B is a 1-lane, half-height PCI Express board, and can be installed in any 1, 8 or 16-lane PCI Express slot including 8-lane slots wired as 1 or 4-lane. It has an on board embedded processor with local memory, and can be reprogrammed for any 1553 protocol. The PCIe1 53B supports the full standard but may be configured to detect any standard command or sub-command as illegal.
Requirements
System must have a PCI Express bus that is not dedicated to display use only. Also see bandwidth requirements.
