RAPID-V is a powerful stand-alone system that records and plays back up to 1.25 GB/sec of digital video data. It comes with one or more EDT framegrabbers to support Camera Link from multiple cameras in base, medium or full mode (Camera Link) or AIA.
The system consists of a 3U EDT computer with 16 qualified and tested disk drives to provide up to 16 terabytes (TB) of storage for greatly extended recording times. It includes EDT's RAPID-V software (built-in GUI, device drivers, record/playback server software, library to access server, and command-line applications.
The RAPID-V can be operated remotely, and it works with virtually any EDT digital video board.
Optional accessories include a 1U keyboard/monitor unit, and a RAPID Pack of 16 additional disk drives.
