The RCX C-Link is a camera link extension module (camera link repeater) that adapts Camera Link digital video data to fiberoptic cable, providing remote location up to 10KM from the host computer.
The RCX C-Link, similar in size to a Camera Link cable connector, attaches directly to the MDR-26 connector on the back of the camera. An LC duplex fiberoptic cable then plugs into the back of the module. A short adapter cable is available for applications where tight tolerances are a factor.
A single module at the camera end can connect via fiber to a second module at the framegrabber end, or directly to an EDT fiberoptic (FOX) framegrabber for base mode image capture. Multiple modules can be used to connect one or more cameras to any Camera Link framegrabber for base, medium, or full mode image capture.
